TrueUp Challenge: Race The AI in Accounting 2025

The TrueUp “Race the AI 2025” Challenge brings together students, universities, and accounting professionals to explore the future of accounting and finance through artificial intelligence. This badge represents the participant's true dedication to learning how AI applies in the context of accounting tasks and processes to help the accounting profession move forward in the most appropriate way. By earning this badge, it means the participant successfully worked with a team to complete 4 TrueUp games centered around AI and its application to accounting and they submitted a 10-minute video presenting their understanding of AI, proposed accounting tasks to apply AI, skills necessary for the future accountant, and their ideas to rollout their AI Adoption Plan. They pitched to a panel of 6 judges from the accounting and finance profession ("Pitch to the Partners") and their videos were reviewed and scored by the judges. This challenge was a two-week virtual event that took place during Fall 2025 with 20 student teams across 13 universities. Minted on-chain by the TrueUp Student Center, this collectible marks participation in one of the first large-scale initiatives uniting accounting, AI, and blockchain education. Symbol of innovation.
